Holiday Bedroom Tour {2016}

Happy Holidays!  I hope everyone is having a joyous holiday with family and friends.  It’s a time for baking, gift exchanging and holiday decorating!  It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

I wanted to invite you to see my holiday bedroom.  This year I went with a cozy rustic theme.  I love the traditional red mixed in with the black, white and wood.

My king size DIY Farmhouse bed is my absolute favorite accessory in my master bedroom. We also built custom matching nightstands and a chic cushioned bench for the foot of the bed. The plaid pillows are from Target and the cute Believe pillow was a clearance find from Michaels Stores.  Various garland placed on the headboard completed the look.

I am so happy that we added the DIY chicken wire frame over the bed this year.  I was able to add my DIY Baby It’s Cold Outside banner by simply using some reindeer clothespins. I was so excited when I found these cute little stockings to add to my garland collection, too! Aren’t they adorable? The JOY marquee lighted banner was another fun accessory for this year.

I really love camping and with all the cute decor out right now I decided to design a Rustic Camping Christmas themed tree and mantel.

It’s quite the cozy spot to sit and enjoy a cup of cocoa!

I love Christmas time and having a tree in the bedroom. Perhaps I should keep it all year long!

I saw these ornaments at Michaels and knew they would make a cute banner for my Rustic Camping Christmas themed mantel.  I simply painted the trees green and then tied each ornament to a piece of twine.

The camper and truck set the theme perfectly! And how fun is the big red bow!!!

A few DIY ornaments and plaid ribbon completed the look.

Thanks for taking the time to tour my holiday bedroom.  Happy Holidays!!!
