Holiday Bedroom Tour {2017}

Merry Christmas!  I hope everyone is having the happiest of days with friends and family.

It’s been yet another busy year but I wanted to invite you to see my updated holiday bedroom before the decorations are put away. This year I went with a cozy rustic theme again (you can see last’s year’s version here).

I definitely have a love of campers, trucks and plaids.  And I just love the traditional red mixed in with the black, white and wood.

My king size DIY Farmhouse bed is my absolute favorite accessory in my master bedroom. We also built custom matching nightstands, the chicken wire frame over the bed and the cushioned bench for the foot of the bed.

I also love the cute truck and camper from last year’s collection. The big red bow was my other favorite must-use item.  Isn’t it just so fun?!

The metallic glitter stars, white ceramic houses and mini truck/camper ornaments were from Target.   Various garland (also from Target) was placed on the headboard to complete the look. Ombre Sisal Christmas Trees were from Michaels.

This adorable reindeer sign is from The Banner Girls.  It was a fun etsy purchase!

For those who have followed along on the blog or Instagram, you already know that I really love camping with my family.  So this year I decorated the bedroom mantel and tree with a Rustic Camping Christmas theme again this year. The camper and truck set the theme perfectly! And how fun is the big red bow!!! The cute JOLLY sign is from Impressions Shop that I painted red.

I used layers of garland and my favorite items.  I shopped the house as well as bought a couple things this season.  I made a few DIY ornaments this year, too.

I just love my tree this year and all the cute details.

I love Christmas time and having a tree in the bedroom. Perhaps I should keep it all year long!

Thanks for taking the time to tour my holiday bedroom.  Merry Christmas!
