Hello, and Welcome February!
Here is a glimpse of my holiday bedroom all decked out for Valentine’s Day! I decided this year was all about the reds and pinks and I truly LOVE how it came out! (This post includes links to purchase some of the items needed for this project – thank you for your support, as a percentage helps support my family.)
My king size DIY Farmhouse bed is my absolute favorite accessory in my master bedroom. The DIY Chicken Wire Frame is also a favorite piece – I love to decorate it for the holidays!
This year I decided to make a new LOVE sign over the bed. The inspiration came about when I made the ombre yarn wreath. I knew I wanted the wreath to hang over my bed, and LOVE was the perfect word. To my surprise I found the matching sized letters while shopping one day! Both the wooden letters and the foam wreath are twelve inches in height.
I sanded then painted the wooden letters gold to add a little bit of glam using Gold Spray Paint.
As for the wreath, I used a ruler and marked three inch sections on the styrofoam wreath form. I then wrapped the yarn around, rotating colors. I used Cherry Red, Pretty ‘N Pink, and Baby Pink for my ombre wreath.
I love how it came out!
I added a few extra Valentine decorations, including fun garlands and pillows. Heart lights were a purchase from Target last year.
